Condolences
Hendrick Polanco My deepest condolences January 30, 2014

My deepest condolences.  May these few words from the Holy Scriptures bring you comfort in your time of grief...

John 11:32-45

32 And so Mary, when she arrived where Jesus was and caught sight of him, fell at his feet, saying to him: “Lord, if you had been here, my brother would not have died.” 33 Jesus, therefore, when he saw her weeping and the Jews that came with her weeping, groaned in the spirit and became troubled; 34 and he said: “Where have YOU laid him?” They said to him: “Lord, come and see.” 35 Jesus gave way to tears. 36 Therefore the Jews began to say: “See, what affection he used to have for him!” 37 But some of them said: “Was not this [man] that opened the eyes of the blind man able to prevent this one from dying?”

38 Hence Jesus, after groaning again within himself, came to the memorial tomb. It was, in fact, a cave, and a stone was lying against it.39 Jesus said: “TAKE the stone away.” Martha, the sister of the deceased, said to him: “Lord, by now he must smell, for it is four days.”40 Jesus said to her: “Did I not tell you that if you would believe you would see the glory of God?” 41 Therefore they took the stone away. Now Jesus raised his eyes heavenward and said: “Father, I thank you that you have heard me. 42 True, I knew that you always hear me; but on account of the crowd standing around I spoke, in order that they might believe that you sent me forth.” 43 And when he had said these things, he cried out with a loud voice: “Laz´a·rus, come on out!” 44The [man] that had been dead came out with his feet and hands bound with wrappings, and his countenance was bound about with a cloth. Jesus said to them: “Loose him and let him go.”

45 Therefore many of the Jews that had come to Mary and that beheld what he did put faith in him;

Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from henceforth: yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labors; for their works follow with them. Rev. 14:13

Katherine & Keziah Demeritte With Heartfelt Condolences January 24, 2014

"Life is short and then you die."  However, there are some people who are so full of life and "joie de vivre" that you expect them to live a long long life.  Joy was one of those persons.  Her joy, compassion and care for others along with her love and dedication for The Lord ensures that she will truly live on.

Kendal, Joshua & Kalei be assured that Joy will live on in the hearts of many just as she will continue to live on in your hearts.

Keziah and I will continue to pray that God will strengthen you today and for the many days to come.

We love you and God bless you.

Sherry Ferguson- Cox SYMPATHY January 24, 2014

On behalf of my family we wish to express our heart felt condolences to the Simmons and Watson families. I can only imagine..............be strong and depend on GOD for he is in control. All of us hurt because JOY has been apart of my family since she made The Bahamas and the Blue Hill Road church her home. She has watched my children grew from infant to young men and yes she has encouraged them whenever she comes in contact with them.

You will be missed Sister Simmoms for I know you are resting in the arms of JESUS may your soul rest in peace.

It is with deep sadness that i extend condolences to Min. Kendall Simmons and the faimily of Min Joy Simmons. What a blessing she was to the body of Christ but especially to the family of the Church of God of Prophecy. She will be truly missed. Purpose is a serious thing and once that has been fulfilled then time ceases. Her death has caused me to understand that giving all you have and can to God is of utmost importance......in fact it is what it really is at the end of the day.

Sleep on Psalmist of the Lord Jesus you have entered into the joy of the Lord. Hold it all down up there in glory and save a spot for me in the heavenly choir.

You have joined Min. Jennifer Deveaux so i know while she preaching you are singing the throne room down.........

I will join you all one of these days if not by death i will certainly be in the rapture.....What a hope!! to be absent from this body and present with the Almighty God.
